A strong, structured community is important enough to say that the NFT project is everything. The community is a collection of fans and NFT buyers of the project, and anyone who has been involved in the project for any reason, whether bystander or speculator.
When we open the NFT PTP project, we basically have to create a community to tell them why we started the NFT project, and introduce what we're planning and who is leading the project.
The most widely used types of communities include Discord, Twitter, Telegram, and Reddit.
•
Discord: Discord has grown into a game-oriented platform, but it is attracting attention as a platform that runs the NFT community. There are great functions for community management such as sharing information, chatting, various permission settings, and bots.
•
Twitter: Twitter is a platform that can clearly show individuals' personalities, giving and receiving the latest information the fastest, and enabling immediate communication with community members.
•
Telegram: Telegram is the same messenger as Facebook Messenger and is used in various countries, featuring a simple menu with no unnecessary features and strong security.
•
Reddit: Reddit has grown into a platform to create diverse debates. Community members who are unique to the same interests participate in the discussion and create an expansion of their thoughts.
In fact, if you can build up the community, you can use any platform that suits the nature of the project. There are communities that communicate through blogs, and there are projects that use cafes. However, most NFT projects use Discord and Twitter.
The difference between these two platforms is how the community interacts: Discord communicates details of the project within the community and makes it feel like a member of the community in various chat rooms, as well as opening a holder-only chat room to benefit.
Because Twitter does not have this function, it also serves to deliver official news from outside, exchange DMs, and introduce new members of the community. So let's talk about the elements that make up the community.
The basic components of a community can be summarized in three ways:
1. Community’s goal and vision
2. Community’s concept
3. Contents (information, event, utility, etc.)
It clearly conveys the purpose and vision of the community to its members and creates a playground where members can play freely with concepts. In addition to information about the project, content such as events, and other benefits to members and holders, the utility can also be granted.
A successful community can serve as a marketing element in itself. Can you feel what community building means in the NFT project? So we've got a rough overview of the community, and one last thing you should remember.
The core of the NFT community is 'trust'.
Creative artwork, community vision and goals, celebrity participation and airdrop events are of course important. However, it is most important that the project entity that executes it is trusted. NFT projects are early markets in their infancy. We will be able to maintain and operate a successful community when we can give concrete trust to our members and holders.
There are many cases of NFT marketing using celebrities. But faith is a value that cannot be bought by Ethereum. A serious attitude toward the community and transparent operation are more important than anything else.
